New Clubs & Societies
In the era of rapid changes in technology and society, while we have been learning, the broader world has undergone too much drama stirred up by ignorance, intolerance, prejudice, and bias. This is a moment where we need someone to stand up, arm themselves with wisdom and garrison the bastion of what we called civilization. Therefore, the UNMC Philosophy Society strives to provide a common platform for students of varied background to exchange ideas with different philosophical approaches, strengthen their critical mind and reasoning skills. Hereby creating a more intelligent student body in UNMC. Our members will be meeting regularly for philosophical discussion on varied topics. We will also have panel discussions, talks, and speech by outside speakers. Every student of every discipline is welcomed to join and explore our activities encircled with philosophical ideas!

Handball (also known as team handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outfield players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. It originally started at the end of the 19th century in northern Europe primarily in Denmark, Germany, Norway and Sweden. Not a lot of students have an idea about handball game, and that’s why we started this club because our aim is to teach all UNMC students how to play this game, a game where everyone can play and enjoy. Training sessions and tournaments for students will be planned and also friendly matches with other universities. Come and Join the Handball Club!

Association of Martial Arts Clubs
Association of Martial Arts Clubs (AMAC) offers you an opportunity to learn the wisdom of our forefathers other than simply fighting. Why do some martial artists punch from their waist while some straight from the chest? Why do I lose my balance easily in front of them? These are the wisdom as our ancestors survived attacks from beasts and wars. Martial arts do not only teach you how to defend yourself but also ways of solving everyday conundrums. You are not taught to throw punches only – martial arts are more than fighting. To people like Theodore Roosevelt, Paul Walker and Robert Downey Jr., martial arts are their ways of life. You will learn to protect yourself and most importantly, your loved ones when running away is no more an option.
