How it works?

Nomination Period: During the nomination period, you can read about the position you are interested in and nominate yourself.

Approval Period:  Wait for the approval and acceptance of your nomination from the SC Vice-Chairperson.

Prepare your manifesto:  Prepare a manifesto per the manifesto guidelines and send it to the SC Vice-Chairperson for approval.

Campaigning Period: Showcase yourself and your ideas to the students by setting up a booth at the SA Circle or Indoor Cafeteria.

Hustings: Hustings is a physical meeting in which candidates are given the opportunity to address potential voters by providing a compulsory five-minute speech along with a presentation to convince students to vote for them.

Voting Period: Follow the instructions given by the SC Vice-Chairperson and cast your vote responsibly. We use the Instant-Runoff Voting (IRV) system to count the votes.
