Yes, the UG Leisure Room (H1B04) and TV Room are open 24/7. The Arcade Room (H1B15), however, is open during Weekdays only from 10am until 5pm. Prior booking is needed. To book, click here.Â

What is CS Fair?
CS Fair is organised annually in the beginning of Autumn Semester. The purpose is to encourage UNM students to come and sign up for Clubs and Societies of their interest. Read me to get to know more about CS Fair.
What is the Membership fee to join a Club or Society for the academic year 2021/22?
Sports CS – RM20 Non-Sports CS – RM10*
*Or the amount stated in their respective constitution. However, due to the current Covid-19 situation, the membership fee is waived (FOC).
What is the duration of a Club or Society membership?
One full academic year (i.e September 2021 to May 2022).
What is the link for submitting EPF, Payment Voucher, etc.?
When will the Clubs and Societies Executive Camp be held?
It is normally held a few weeks before the start of the Autumn Semester in the month of September. However, the exact dates will be informed to all the invitees once confirmed.
When will the Clubs and Societies be permitted to host their first event?
The Clubs and Societies are permitted to host their event one week after the Clubs and Societies Fair. The exact date will be confirmed closer to the start of the semester.
Graduation will take place on Saturday, 23rd July 2022 and Sunday, 24th July 24 2022 at the Bangi Avenue Convention Center (BACC). For further information, kindly refer to the email sent by Graduation (graduation@nottingham.edu.my) on 3rd October 2022 titled “UNM July 2022 Graduation Ceremony".

As an International student, am I allowed to do a part-time job outside of campus?
International students are allowed to work for 20 hours per week at mini markets, petrol stations, restaurants and hotels. However, you are required to submit an application form to the Visa Office and get approval from the immigration before you can start working.

My passport is now in the hands of immigration / EMGS. I would like to travel right away. What am I supposed to do?
Contact the VISA Office at Visa@nottingham.edu.my with the relevant documents and passport information and they will revert to you immediately. Contact Visa Renewal at visarenewal@nottingham.edu.my for more information.
What happens to my student visa if I decide to defer my studies?
You will be required to shorten your current visa and apply for a new VAL for the next academic year that you would like to join.

I am a progressing Phd student, can I request for an extension for my annual review report?
Please discuss with your respective supervisor and submit an ECF to request for an extension. However, it is not guaranteed that all ECF submission will be given the extension.
I do not want to use the laboratory facilities, can I still access my office room?
Yes, office rooms are available for the use of PGR students.
What are the SOPs for the use of the laboratory facilities?
To avoid the violation of social distancing measures, PGR students are required to make slot bookings prior. Only students approved booking emails will be allowed to enter the laboratories.
